PLAYBACK: 2025 National Farmers’ Day Grand Durbar Underway at Ho Sports Stadium

The 2025 edition of National Farmers’ Day is currently underway at the Ho Sports Stadium, where thousands of farmers, fishers, agripreneurs, and stakeholders have gathered for the Grand Durbar and Awards Ceremony. This year’s celebration is being held under the national theme: “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future.”

Today’s event marks the climax of a five-day Agricultural Fair that opened on Monday, December 1, attracting hundreds of participants from across the country.

The theme, “Feed Ghana, Eat Ghana, Secure the Future,” reflects the government’s renewed commitment to boosting food security, strengthening local food production and consumption, reducing reliance on imports, and supporting sustainable agribusiness growth.

This year marks the 41st edition of Farmers’ Day, and awards will be presented across a range of categories to reflect the dynamism of Ghana’s agricultural sector. These include:

  • Best National Farmer
