Krachi East MP Initiates Major Upgrade to Dambai Poly Clinic

Member of Parliament for Krachi East Constituency, Nelson Kofi Djabab, has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare in the municipality by initiating a major facelift for the Dambai Poly Clinic. The project involves the construction of a 60-bed accident victims unit, a long-overdue development that will greatly benefit the facility, which serves a large population.

The construction project, which was flagged off by Mr Djabab, is being undertaken by AJ Ramma Constructions. The MP emphasised that the upgrade is essential to enhance the facility’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services to the people of Krachi East. The project is sponsored by the Renes Sanae Foundation, highlighting the collaborative efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure in the area.

The Municipal Chief Executive for Krachi East, Safo Nketia, expressed immense gratitude to the MP for this initiative, recognising the positive impact it will have on the community. Nana Bienor II, the Dambai Hene, also appreciated Hon. Djabab and the John Dramani Mahama administration for their commitment to development in the area.

About Nelson Kofi Djabab

As a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Nelson Kofi Djabab has been actively engaged in promoting development in Krachi East. He won the NDC parliamentary primaries in 2023, defeating the incumbent MP, Wisdom Gidisu. Hon. Djabab holds a Master’s degree in Logistics Management from the Ghana Communication Technology University and has worked in various roles, including as a teacher and shipping manager.

This project is expected to significantly enhance healthcare delivery in Krachi East, providing much-needed support to accident victims and the broader community. The construction of the 60-bed unit will increase the clinic’s capacity to provide emergency care, ultimately saving lives and improving health outcomes.
