A power struggle between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus over which party holds the majority has seen the house adjourned indefinitely.
This follows Speaker Alban Bagbin’s declaration of four parliamentary seats as vacant, temporarily altering the balance of power.

As both sides claim majority control, no one currently occupies the Minority seats in Parliament.
