More than 80 Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) have participated in the Advans Ghana Savings and Loans SMEs Growth Clinic. The programme, which was designed to train clients in Kumasi, aimed to equip businesses with the skills, resources, and financial literacy necessary to thrive in today’s competitive economy.
This initiative underscores Advans Ghana’s commitment to fostering inclusive growth and sustainable development by supporting key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
Guillaume Valence, Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Advans Ghana, said the one-day workshop brought together more than 80 SME clients from the Kumasi branches. He said it was aimed at bridging knowledge gaps, strengthening business practices, and creating pathways for growth.
He noted that participants gained practical tools, expert-led insights, and peer-to-peer networking opportunities. The sessions covered three critical areas: Financial Management & Access to Credit, Business Growth Strategies, and Digital Transactions and Credit Readiness.
He emphasised the importance of vision in every business, highlighting that SMEs need more than just banking services — they need a financial partner. “Advans Ghana is not just a bank but a financial partner for SMEs,” he affirmed.
Beyond training, the SME Clinic fostered collaboration, resource-sharing, and networking, enabling businesses to scale, sustain long-term growth, and contribute more meaningfully to Ghana’s economy.
The event reaffirmed Advans Ghana’s unwavering commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, promoting financial inclusion, and supporting sustainable business practices nationwide.
