“….PRINPAG is confident that their vast experience will be brought to bear in addressing the myriad of challenges confronting the media landscape in Ghana. Their leadership in the government’s communication machinery will be critical in fostering transparency, accountability, and effective engagement with journalists.”

“As an Association representing the interests of newspapers and online news publishers across the country, PRINPAG is ready to work closely with the Government Communications team to enhance the welfare and safety of journalists. We urge Hon. Kwakye Ofosu and Madam Shamima to champion media-friendly policies that will create an environment where journalists feel safe and empowered to carry out their work without fear or intimidation. We further encourage them to welcome constructive criticisms and uphold the principles of press freedom, which are crucial in strengthening our democracy.”

“PRINPAG also calls on the government to ensure that its communication team remains accessible to journalists, fosters a culture of responsiveness, and works collaboratively to address challenges facing the media industry. We hope to see initiatives that will support capacity building for journalists, enhance access to information, and create opportunities for media practitioners to thrive in a free and fair environment.”
