Tears flow freely at John Kumah’s Ejisu residence (VIDEOS)

Tears are flowing freely from residents of Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, following news of the demise of the MP for the area, Dr John Ampontuah Kumah.

A solemn atmosphere has settled over the residence of the late Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah, as word of his untimely passing spreads.

Family, friends, and political colleagues have gathered to mourn the loss of a dedicated public servant and cherished community member.

John Kumah was admired for his unwavering dedication to public service and tireless efforts to uplift his constituents. His sudden departure has left a profound void in the hearts of many who respected his commitment and enthusiasm for serving others.

As news of his demise circulates, a steady stream of visitors has arrived at his residence to offer condolences and pay their respects.

The scene is one of deep sadness, with tears flowing freely as mourners share cherished memories of Kumah. He is remembered as a dynamic and energetic leader who consistently prioritized the welfare of his people.

Dr. Kumah died at the Suhum Government Hospital in the afternoon of Thursday, March 7, 2024, after battling an undisclosed illness.

He is said to have visited his constituency for the 67th Independence Day Anniversary parade, where his health condition deteriorated. An ambulance was subsequently mobilized to transport him to Accra before embarking to Germany for specialist treatment.

While on the way to Accra, his condition became very critical, and the ambulance diverted him to the Suhum Government Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

His remains have since been deposited at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
