Ghanaian sports icon Asamoah Gyan has been appointed to head NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s Manifesto sub-committee on Youth and Sports.
This announcement was made in a press release issued by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for Bawumia’s campaign team.
The team also includes Osei-Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, who will chair the manifesto committee.
Their responsibilities entail conducting a comprehensive review of the party’s 2016 and 2020 manifestos and engaging with relevant stakeholders to develop a pragmatic manifesto for 2024.
“The Manifesto Committee is further charged to discharge their mandate efficiently and professionally to produce a comprehensive manifesto document that can stand the test of time to address the legitimate concerns and socio-economic challenges of Ghanaians.”
Asamoah Gyan is Ghana’s all-time top goal scorer in all competitions.
