The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) is expecting some encouraging numbers to participate in this year’s District Level Elections (DLEs) on Tuesday, December 19.
It has been observed by the commission that the DLEs are mostly met with apathy by some Ghanaians, unlike the general elections.
It is on this note that the Ejisu team of the commission intensified sensitization on the need for all eligible voters to exercise their franchise, hence expecting a higher turnout this time round.

“We are expecting higher numbers this time round. We believe our intense education would work. People needed to know why they ought to vote and we have given them all the reasons”, George Amponsah Boateng (DD) averred.
The Ejisu team led by George Amponsah Boateng engaged Muslims at the Central Mosque, a dawn-dusk broadcast at Besease, Ampabame was also organised.

With Faith-Based Organisations, (FBOs) the St. Anthony Catholic Church was visited. The Bonwire information center was also visited where the populace was engaged in the need to cast their vote Tuesday.

The other team members were Felicia Afful (ACEO), Eric Bureh ( ACEO) and Martin Ofori (PFO).
