The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), Sammy Gyamfi, has taken the podium at the Government Accountability Series to address concerns about the government’s gold-purchasing initiative.
Mr Gyamfi is expected to provide an account of GOLDBOD’s operations and respond to criticisms levelled against the initiative, particularly by the Minority and a section of the populace.
The Minority Leader, Osahen Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, had earlier warned that the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, could face “scary” bail conditions in the future if the standards currently being applied to some former government officials are maintained.
