In our party’s tradition, we have rightfully held high the legacy of Danquah, Busia, and Dombo, especially honouring Dombo for the sacrifice that paved the way for northern inclusion through the likes of Aliu Mahama and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Yet, in this hour of uncertainty and internal disquiet, perhaps it is time we look deeper, beyond the icons of political symbolism—and pay renewed homage to the true foundation stone of our movement: Paa Grant, the man who financed and founded the dream.
And who better to honour this foundational truth than Kennedy Akompreko Agyapong, a self-made man whose journey echoes the spirit of Paa Grant, not in theory, but in practical investment, unfiltered courage, and unbought patriotism.
