The paramount chief of the Buipe traditional area and president of the Buipe Traditional Council, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II has inspected the construction works of an Irrigation dam for the people of Lito, a farming community in the central Gonja District of Savannah Region funded and put together by his Belgium friends and partners.
The irrigation dam, when completed will boost farming activities all year round in the area and further promote livestock production in the area
with the youth as the main target to reduce poverty and also create an employment avenue for them.
Speaking at the site, the contractor of the project assured Buipewura Jinapor and his elders who inspected the progress of work at the site that the dam project would be completed within the next 7 days.

Over the years, Buipewura Jinapor has always advocated the utilization of the vast arable land for the purposes of agricultural and industrial development not only in the Central Gonja District but the entire Savannah Region.

Meanwhile, Buipewura Jinapor has further disclosed that in the coming days, more of his friends and partners across the globe will visit the Buipe traditional area to invest in different sectors of the area.

Some residents of the Lito community expressed gratitude to Buipewura for his selfless leadership and dedication to humanity towards the development of his traditional area.
