President John Dramani Mahama has welcomed staff of the Presidency back to work, commending them for their dedication and hard work throughout 2025 and urging renewed commitment as the nation moves forward in 2026.
In a video shared from Jubilee House, President Mahama is seen exchanging pleasantries with staff and wishing them a Happy New Year after being received by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah.
Addressing the staff, the President expressed appreciation for their dedication in supporting government operations throughout the past year, noting that their professionalism and sacrifice played a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Presidency.
He urged them to uphold high standards of service, discipline, and teamwork, emphasising that public service must always be guided by a strong sense of duty and commitment to the national interest.
“People don’t know that those cooking in the kitchen are the ones preparing the delicious food. I’m only the one serving it,” he said.
The President further called for increased dedication in the new year, saying 2026 presents an opportunity to deepen reforms and strengthen service delivery to meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
