Ghana’s inflation rate continued its downward trend for the eleventh month in a row, easing to 6.3 per cent in November 2025 from the 8.0 per cent recorded in October. This was confirmed in the latest Consumer Price Index data released by the Ghana Statistical Service.
Government Statistician Dr Alhassan Iddrisu, who presented the figures in Accra, attributed the sustained decline to notable reductions in both food and non-food inflation categories. Overall, consumer prices rose by 0.9 per cent between October and November.
Food inflation dropped sharply to 6.6 per cent from 9.5 per cent the previous month, while non-food inflation also fell to 6.1 per cent from 6.9 per cent. Inflation within the services sector eased to 3.8 per cent from 4.6 per cent.
At the regional level, the North East Region recorded the highest inflation rate at 12.3 per cent, whereas the Savannah Region registered the lowest rate.
