President John Dramani Mahama has engaged journalists in his first presidential media encounter since returning to office on January 7, 2025.

The interaction at the Jubilee House offered the media a rare opportunity to put direct questions to the President on national priorities, key reforms, and his flagship Resetting Ghana Agenda.

  1. From the report from the president, so far I guess he is doing well. The last question from the white man. The president has just mentioned that the people from most countries do not need visa to travel to Ghana. But I am of the view that foreigners should need visas to enter Ghana just like we Ghanaians suffer to get visa before traveling or even renewing our visas in other countries. We pay a lot of money for visa and residency permits in other countries so why can’t Ghana also apply these options in other to raise money for our poor country. Applications for visas should be relooked at in Ghana.
