President-elect John Dramani Mahama has set up a five-member team to investigate suspected acts of corruption under the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia-led government.
The team is expected to oversee the implementation of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL), which is central to Mahama’s 120-day social contract agenda.
ORAL is a strategic programme aimed at combating corruption, reclaiming misappropriated state resources, and enforcing accountability within Ghana’s public sector. The initiative seeks to address systemic financial impropriety, rebuild public trust in state institutions, and create fiscal space to support national development.
According to a press statement issued on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, and signed by the Spokesperson of the Mahama Transition Team, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the newly formed body will serve as a conduit for citizens to report corruption-related issues.
The members are:
- Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman
- Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General
- COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye
- Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner
- Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist
