Ghana’s Parliament is set to reconvene on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, after one of its longest vacations.
The House went on recess in August 2023 and is expected to commence its Third Meeting of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic on Tuesday.

This follows a public notice issued by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.
The statement sighted by NewsAlertGh urged Members of Parliament to be seated by 10:00 am at Parliament House, Accra for the sittings to commence.
“In Pursuance Of Standing Order 37 Of The Parliament Of Ghana, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker Of Parliament, Hereby Give Notice That The Third Meeting Of The Third Session Of The Eighth Parliament Of The Fourth Republic Shall Commence On Tuesday, The 31st Day Of October 2023 At Ten O’clock In The Forenoon At Parliament House, Accra,” the public announcement read.
