The development which led to an evacuation of the airport has led to a warning notice from the management of the facility.

In a statement, GACL said the Operations Room of the Aviation Security Department was immediately alerted and the luggage in question was swiftly isolated.

The statement also added that the passenger responsible for the luggage has since been handed over to the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) for further interrogation.
