The nation will, on Monday, October 20, 2025, gather at the University of Ghana Sports Complex Park to commemorate the 40th day of the passing of Apostle Emeritus Ing. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the revered industrialist, innovator, farmer, herbalist, and spiritual leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana.
The solemn occasion, expected to draw thousands of mourners, will reflect on the extraordinary life of a man whose exploits in industry, agriculture, technology, and spirituality have left an indelible mark on Ghana’s growth and development.
From pioneering locally manufactured vehicles and machinery to introducing advanced agricultural practices and nurturing generations of inventors, Apostle Safo stood as a symbol of possibility and self-reliance. Beyond his industrial ingenuity, his spiritual leadership in Kristo Asafo inspired countless souls, fostering discipline, community, and a deep sense of faith.
The 40th-day commemoration will attract high-profile dignitaries, including the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the President of the Republic, former Presidents, a former Vice President, Members of Parliament, traditional rulers, and captains of industry.
