Concerns Raised Over Electoral Integrity in Ghana: Open Letter Calls for Immediate Action

In a recent open letter addressed to Electoral Commissioner Jean Mensa, Dr James Dickson Fiagborlo has expressed concerns about potential electoral manipulation in Ghana. He highlights troubling reports of alleged illegal voter transfers and questionable data practices that could undermine the democratic process.

Dr. Fiagborlo points to evidence presented by the largest opposition party the National Democratic Congress (NDC), suggesting that voters may have been transferred unlawfully without their knowledge. These allegations, if verified, could jeopardize the legitimacy of upcoming elections and erode public confidence in the electoral system.

He calls on the electoral Commissioner Madam Jean Mensa to investigate these claims with urgency and ensure transparency and fairness throughout the electoral process.

Dr Fiagborlo further emphasized the importance of maintaining public trust and avoiding unrest and urged both citizens and international observers to demand electoral integrity.

The letter has been copied to President Nana Akufo-Addo, Members of Parliament, and international observer organizations, underscoring the widespread concern and demand for a thorough examination of the electoral process as the nation prepares for the crucial election in December.

  1. The call on the Electoral Commissioner and the President of the land is in order. The demand is legitimate, especially when a lot of the Ghanaian citizens are doubting the integrity of the Commissioner of delivery a good job looking at what happened in the election 2020 where several conflicting results were given by the commissioner.

The report was also coincide to the point. I encourage the editor to continue to bringing issues of national interest to public domain.
