Management of the Mole National Park through the Ghana Shea Landscape Emission Reductions Project (GSLERP) has donated a brand new TVS motorbike to aid conservation efforts at the fledgling CREMA.
The Park Manager, Collaborative Resource Management Officer and management team members emphasized the crucial role of CREMAs towards conservation efforts in the Mole Landscape. The representatives of the executives were charged to let the donation be a motivational factor to boost the activities of the CREMA.
The park and CREMA are both grateful to the donors of the GSLERP project namely the UNDP, Forestry Commission, Global Shea Alliance, GH-REDD+ and traditional authorities who are key stakeholders for their invaluable support in preserving Ghana’s rich natural resources.
It is hoped that Kapite Nabonsi CREMA is better equipped to tackle deforestation and degradation while safeguarding forests and the shea landscape for future generations.
