Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Majority Chief Whip and incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam Adoagyiri has expressed confidence in securing victory in the constituency’s primaries with over 80 per cent of the total votes when polls close today.
Facing a competitive challenge from Hayford Siaw, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Library Authority, Mr Annoh-Dompreh shared his optimism in an interview with Accra-based Citi News after casting his vote. He stated, “I am winning, I told you before, I predicted 80 per cent; it may be more.”
Reflecting on the voting process, the MP highlighted the impressive turnout and a smooth election experience.
“If you look at the turnout, it is impressive. I didn’t have any difficulty. Even though they wanted to give me some courtesy, I resisted it because I wanted to go through the queue and the process. I think it has been smooth, no hitches so far.”
