Contrary to reports, Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, MP for Awutu Senya West, did not walk out on the Vice President and Chiefs during the Awubia Festival this year. Instead, she sought permission to twice to leave and was praised by the crowd for her community-centred work.
As she stated, “The people of Awutu Senya West need their fair share of the national resources to improve lives, not fake stories masquerading as developmental projects.”
Hon. Tetteh-Agbotui received a warm reception from the crowd, who praised, hailed, and cheered her for her achievements, including her efforts in AsumiApa skills training, free general surgeries and health infrastructure interventions, educational scholarships and support, water supply, and annual grading of roads in the community.
She also outlined her vision for her next term, focusing on education sector development, with plans to establish a Nurses training college, construct dormitory blocks for three Senior High Schools, build additional Basic school blocks, develop the Bawjiase market, and prioritize road construction.
She emphasized, “I am focused on the fulfilment of my promises to my loving constituents.”
