Photos and videos have emerged from the extravagant wedding of Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and his sweetheart Chioma Rowlands. This event follows their private traditional wedding ceremony held in 2023.
The wedding has created a buzz in Lagos, where it is taking place, and has attracted numerous high-profile guests, including Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, along with other prominent dignitaries.
In several videos shared on social media, Davido and Chioma were seen wearing matching wine agbada and Aso Oke outfits, complemented with a matching Gele and cap. The venue is a luxurious hall adorned with crystal chandeliers and glittering gold tassels, reflecting the couple’s refined taste.
Photos have emerged showcasing stunning outfits from Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, ahead of the ceremony. Davido’s groomsmen have also added to the glamour with their exquisite traditional attire.
Special touches at the wedding include gold place cards with each guest’s name and white and gold favour boxes at each table. Fans have taken to social media to express their joy and excitement for the couple, flooding platforms with congratulatory messages.
Davido also revealed that the engagement ring he gave Chioma is valued at the equivalent of two or three Rolls Royce cars.
