The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has commended Yorm Agbogbo for his progress in artificial intelligence (AI) training under the One Million Coders Programme, highlighting the importance of inclusive access to digital skills development for persons with disabilities.
Mr Agbogbo has completed the beginner-level AI Essentials course and is currently pursuing further training towards the AI Professional Certification. He is yet to complete the remaining stages and plans to advance to the next level after finishing his current studies.
The Minister encouraged him to complete all three levels, noting that the skills acquired could improve his employment prospects in Ghana and internationally.
Mr Agbogbo’s progress demonstrates the value of creating accessible learning opportunities that enable persons with disabilities to build their skills, pursue professional development and participate fully in the digital economy.
