The Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Richmond Edem Kofi Kpotosu, has announced the arrival of a tractor aimed at supporting farmers across the constituency. The delivery, which took place this afternoon, fulfils a key promise he made to constituents to enhance agricultural development.
The MP expressed immense satisfaction at the successful delivery of the tractor, describing it as a significant step toward empowering local farmers. He emphasised that agriculture remains a cornerstone of the constituency’s economy and must be supported with modern tools and equipment.
According to Hon. Kpotosu, the tractor will play a crucial role in improving farming efficiency and productivity. He noted that many farmers in the area face challenges due to limited access to mechanised farming equipment, which often slows down their work and reduces output.
The MP reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the success of farmers in Ho Central. He stressed that investing in agriculture is not only about increasing yields but also about improving livelihoods and ensuring food security within the constituency.
Hon. Kpotosu further indicated that the tractor will be made accessible to all communities within Ho Central. He assured constituents that its usage would be managed fairly to ensure that every farmer benefits, regardless of location or scale of operation.
He added that the initiative forms part of a broader plan to modernise agriculture in the constituency. Future interventions, he hinted, may include additional equipment, training programmes, and support systems to help farmers adopt improved agricultural practices.
Farmers and community members have welcomed the development with optimism, expressing hope that the tractor will ease the burden of manual labour and increase farm output. Many believe this intervention will significantly contribute to local economic growth.
The arrival of the tractor marks a promising milestone in the MP’s efforts to transform agriculture in Ho Central. As the farming season approaches, expectations are high that the new equipment will deliver tangible benefits and uplift livelihoods across the constituency.
