President John Dramani Mahama, the African Union Champion for African Financial Institutions, is currently hosting a landmark high-level event on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York to officially launch “The Accra Reset: Reimagining Global Governance for Health and Development.”
The initiative, described as “bold and actionable,” seeks to fundamentally transform global governance, ensuring the system is fit-for-purpose in the turbulent, post-SDG era.
The event has drawn a powerful assembly of Heads of State, leaders of multilateral institutions, philanthropic organisations, business innovators, and civil society representatives from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond.
