A powerful new women empowerment initiative, HER SPACE, is set to launch its maiden edition on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Tranquillus, Aburi, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Jointly hosted by X’perience Africa Initiative, Order Events, and Nova Business School, HER SPACE is a one-day workshop designed to educate, celebrate, and elevate women shaping Ghana’s tourism, hospitality, and events industry.
Bringing together over 50 outstanding professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging talents, the event will offer a day packed with leadership development, business growth strategies, mentorship, and meaningful networking opportunities.
A Platform for Growth and Connection
The event will feature:
A keynote address by a prominent industry leader
An interactive panel discussion exploring key challenges and opportunities for women in the THE space
Breakout workshops with practical tools and resources for career and business growth
Curated networking sessions to foster collaboration and peer support
Themes will focus on women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, and career pathways within the tourism, hospitality, and events ecosystem.
Creating a Pipeline for Women Leaders
According to Jonathan Ayertey, founder of the X’perience Africa Initiative, HER SPACE aims to become a springboard for visibility, mentorship, and leadership development within Ghana’s experience economy.
“Through this initiative, we are opening doors for women to connect, learn, and lead with confidence,” Ayertey said.
