Oti Regional Minister’s Pontoon Cruise Party Adds Second Pontoon Due to Overwhelming Demand

The Office of the Oti Regional Minister, in collaboration with Kourage Investment Matrix and Oti Radio 101.5 FM, has announced an exciting update to the 2025 Republic Day Pontoon Cruise Party. In response to the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm from the public, the event will now feature not one, but two pontoons. This decision aims to accommodate the thousands of participants who have expressed their desire to join in the celebration.

– Date: Initially scheduled for July 1st, 2025, but a new date will be announced in due course due to logistical arrangements.
– Purpose: The event aims to educate and engage the youth on the government’s 24-hour economy policy through music, educational activities, and merry-making.
– Features: The pontoon cruise on the River Oti will include a two-hour Borbor and Kpalongo drumming and dancing performance at Kudor-Kope.
