The Oti Region is set to experience a significant boost in its 24-hour economy, thanks to the Regional Minister, John Kwadwo Gyapong. As part of efforts to create employment opportunities for the youth, the Minister has prioritised the Agricultural sector, recognising its vast potential for job creation.
To promote this initiative and educate the youth about the government’s 24-hour economy policy, Hon. Gyapong is organising a fun-filled pantoon cruise party on the Volta Lake. The event promises to be an exciting experience, with fresh palm wine, local food, and pizza on board the ferry.
The Pantoon Cruise Party aims to bring the youth together, providing a platform for them to learn about the government’s vision for a 24-hour economy and how they can benefit from it. By leveraging opportunities in the Agricultural sector, the Minister’s administration hopes to empower the youth and stimulate economic growth in the region.
“Employment creation for the youth in Oti Region has become my top priority,” Hon. Gyapong emphasised.
“We will harness the potential of our Agricultural sector to create jobs and drive economic growth. This pantoon cruise party is just the beginning of a series of initiatives aimed at engaging and empowering our youth.”
