A delegation from the Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary (POJOSS) Speech Day Committee has paid a courtesy call on Bernard Ohemeng Baah to officially invite him to serve as chairperson for the school’s 2025 Speech and Prize-Giving Day.
The visit, which took place on Wednesday, April 16, also served as an opportunity to congratulate Mr. Ohemeng Baah on his recent appointment as Deputy Commissioner of the National Insurance Commission (NIC).
This year’s Speech Day, scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2025, will be hosted by the POJOBA ’99, the year group to which Mr. Ohemeng Baah belongs.
The delegation was led by the POJOBA National Vice President and included the Headmaster of POJOSS, Very Rev. Fr. Ohene; POJOBA National Secretary, Joseph Oliver Bowers; Chair of the POJOBA ’99 Year Group, Richard Fumey; and Chair of the POJOBA ’99 Anniversary Committee, Owusu Nyarko, Esq.
During the meeting, the team engaged Mr. Ohemeng Baah in discussions about current challenges facing the school and explored ways his leadership and influence could support the school’s development. They also offered prayers and encouraged him to leave a lasting legacy in his new role at NIC.
