The Appointments Committee of Parliament is currently vetting Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The North Tongu Member of Parliament, known for his strong advocacy on governance and international relations, is taking his turn to present his vision for the ministry. His presentation is expected to focus on strengthening Ghana’s diplomatic ties, advancing economic diplomacy, and addressing challenges in consular services.
Mr. Ablakwa is expected to stress his commitment to enhancing Ghana’s global image, protecting the interests of citizens abroad, and leveraging international partnerships to promote development at home.
