The Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to vet the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George for the Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations Ministry portfolio today Thursday, January 30, 2025.
The vetting of the 40-year-old politician will be preceded by that of Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, the Minister Designate for Labour, Jobs, and Employment, who is scheduled to appear before the Committee at 8:00 a.m.
He will be followed by Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, the Minister Designate for Environment, Science, and Technology, at 9:00 a.m., with Sam George taking his turn at 10:00 a.m.

At 11:00 a.m., Kofi Iddie Adams, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, will face the Committee. A short break will follow, with proceedings resuming at 12:30 p.m.
The afternoon session will commence with Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who will be vetted at 12:30 p.m., followed by Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Transport, at 1:30 p.m.
Issifu Seidu, Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, is slated for 2:30 p.m., while Mrs. Charity Gardiner, Minister Designate for the Ahafo Region, will conclude the day’s vetting at 3:30 p.m.
