The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has been nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to serve as Minister for Roads and Highways.
A renowned Ghanaian architect and politician, Mr. Agbodza boasts an impressive architectural design and project management background. He earned his qualifications from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and furthered his education at the United Kingdom’s Westminster and East London universities.
As the Principal Consultant at Kay + Partners Ltd, Mr Agbodza has spearheaded notable projects across Ghana and the UK’s healthcare, education, and residential sectors.
Since entering Parliament in 2013, Mr. Agbodza has risen through the ranks, serving as Deputy Ranking Member, Ranking Member, and Minority Chief Whip. Currently, he holds the position of Majority Chief Whip in the Ninth Parliament.
In addition to his political career, Mr. Agbodza is an active member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Ghana Institute of Architects.
