David Ofue Teye Apemakor ,born 3 January 1997, to Mr Emmanuel Teye aka Nii Akwei Bonsu and Mrs Mary Buadu.He is known professionally as Don King YM . He is a Ghanaian singer, rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur from Ga – Adaa and a residence of Awoshie.
Don King Completed SHS school in the year 2017 . Where he obtained Certificate . Don King is single and an entrepreneur who Owns numerous businesses in Accra .
He is best known for his unique style of music particularly rapping and singing. And has won Prime Time Ghana Awards.
He had his first song released on 5th May 2021. The song made tremendous air waves in the Ghana music industry and been played at most of the concerts in Ghana. .
His greatest song hit in June 2021 ,and has over 15 songs and many more yet to be released. Including Megye die.
Don King YM took the airwaves by surprise. His musical revenue is mostly generated through hosting of his concerts , other events performance and other contracts granted
He is not signed under any record label but hoping to be signed under a record label.
Don King YM came to Accra as a hustler in September 2017 to pursue his career before then he had engaged in other activities in life for a living .
In Accra he engaged in different types of jobs , including a cleaner, working at A1 Bread company, phone repairer and sales of phone accessories . He was staying in Awoshie Market With the father but currently rented an apartment on his own
He started singing and rapping at a young age when he discovered his passion and potentials for music particularly singing. and has since achieved numerous success in the Ghanaian and Global music industry. His contributions to the Ghanaian music industry have yielded him numerous accolades and awards , including the Prime Time Ghana Award
