The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to hold its parliamentary primary in the Ejisu Constituency today, Saturday, April 13, 2024, to select a candidate following the passing of the late MP John Kumah on March 7, 2024.
Nine aspirants vying for candidacy in the NPP’s parliamentary primary were given the green light by the vetting committee on April 6. These individuals had picked up nomination forms on April 4, two days after the party opened nominations.
The Electoral Commission (EC) has scheduled the by-election for April 30, 2024.
