Ghanaian Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has embarked on an ambitious journey to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. The remarkable event kicked off on the eve of the New Year 2024 in the vibrant city of Tamale in the Northern Region.
Chef Failatu’s goal is nothing short of extraordinary – she aims to cook continuously for an astonishing 120 hours, surpassing the existing Guinness record held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who completed a marathon cooking session lasting 119 hours and 57 minutes.
The Guinness World Record guidelines demand strict adherence to continuous cooking without substantial breaks.
