In a remarkable demonstration of compassion and solidarity with his constituents, John Abdulai Jinapor, the Member of Parliament representing the good people of the Yapei-Kusawgu constituency, extended a helping hand to alleviate the suffering of flood victims in Buipe. The town had been severely impacted by destructive floods, resulting in the displacement of numerous families.
This generous donation came in the wake of his recent visit to the affected area, where he personally assessed the extent of the damage and the dire circumstances faced by the residents.
Witnessing the devastation firsthand, he was moved to take immediate action to provide relief and support to the flood victims.
The relief items donated by the MP are intended to ease the burden of those affected by the floods. These essential supplies included 100 bags of rice, 20 curtains of cooking oil, 20 boxes of soap, 20 boxes of clean drinking water, and other necessities that are urgently needed by the displaced families.
Mr. Jinapor’s swift response to the crisis underscored his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his constituents. By offering a helping hand during this difficult time, he has not only provided tangible relief but also sent a powerful message of unity and community support.
His actions demonstrated that, as a representative of the people, he was dedicated to standing by their side in times of adversity.
As we hope for the floodwaters to recede, the support and generosity of Honourable Jinapor served as a beacon of hope and solidarity for the residents of Buipe. He reaffirmed the importance of strong and compassionate leadership in times of crisis, reassuring the flood victims that they were not alone in their struggle to recover and rebuild their lives.
He promised his continuous support and assured them that he would engage with other stakeholders to explore ways of ending the situation.
