VIDEO: “May God Grant You Greatness” – Sam George Prays for Baby Born After Eight Miscarriages

An emotional moment played out at the Ghana Police Hospital in Accra on Thursday, January 22, 2026, when Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, prayed for a long-awaited newborn baby during a visit to the maternity ward.

The baby girl, Aisha, was born safely after her parents had endured years of waiting and repeated pregnancy losses, making her arrival a moment of immense joy for the family.

Overcome with emotion, the father briefly placed the baby in the Minister’s arms, saying softly, “My firstborn after eight years.”

Holding the child, Mr George shared a personal reflection drawn from his own family’s experience, offering words of hope and reassurance to the parents.

“Seven years, ten miscarriages… my mother. It was in the eighth year that I was born,” he said.

The Minister then prayed for the newborn, blessing her future and speaking words of destiny.

“May God bless you and grant you greatness. Any greatness that He has given to me, may He give you a double portion. May you be a joy to your parents, your family, and your nation. You will be a great woman,” he prayed.

Mr George later presented a gift to baby Aisha and congratulated her parents on the safe delivery.

The father expressed gratitude to the Minister, describing him as one of the public officials he admires and follows, and pledged to continue praying for him and his family.
