The Member of Parliament for the Damongo and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has commissioned the 3rd Astro Turf in the Busunu electoral area of the constituency.
The Damongo MP has for the last 3 years constructed and commissioned Astro turfs in the Damongo Municipality and the Larabanga Community with the latest one being the Busunu traditional area making the number of sports facilities in the Constituency to 3.
The Member of Parliament before he was elected the MP promised to construct 4 Astro turfs in the Constituency and has so far delivered 3 whilst work is yet to commence on the last one at the Canteen electoral area, all in the Damongo constituency of the Savannah Region.

The MP in a speech during the commissioning indicated that the newly constructed Astroturf will help unearth talents in the Busunu electoral area.
Hon. Jinapor disclosed to the people of the Busunu traditional area that he will be back in the coming weeks to commission the newly built Busunu Senior High School for the community.

He added that several other activities in the community can take place in the field and he believes the people of the Busunu electoral area will take good care of the facility.

He reminded them that the purpose of electing leaders is to ensure development is brought to the doorsteps of the people and that is exactly what the people of the Damongo constituency are getting under his leadership.

The paramount chief of the Busunu traditional area, Busunuwura Monasa Jonokpowu I praised the Member of Parliament for always bringing development to his traditional area and assured him that the facility would properly be taken of.
