“It is hereby notified for general information that purchases for the 2023/24 Main Crop Season will cease at the close of business on THURSDAY, 6TH JUNE 2024. In order to assist the Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs) to obtain the final returns from up-country centres, the Ghana Cocoa Board has decided that returns on the declared purchases will be accepted up to 4:00 pm on THURSDAY, 13TH JUNE 2024. All are to take note and be guided accordingly by the above arrangements and strictly comply,” the statement noted.

COCOBOD has urged all LBCs and other stakeholders to take note of these deadlines and make the necessary arrangements to comply with the set timelines. Failure to adhere to these deadlines could result in discrepancies in purchase records, which might affect subsequent transactions and settlements.
