Africa Macro Intelligence (AMI) has announced the launch of the AMI West Africa Book Donation Tour, an educational and intellectual initiative that will take Lord Fiifi Quayle’s book, Pricing Uncertainty: Black–Scholes, Risk, and the Future of African Finance, to secondary schools and universities across Togo, Benin and Nigeria.
The initiative forms part of AMI’s broader commitment to strengthening Africa’s intellectual infrastructure and encouraging young Africans to engage critically with the economic questions shaping the continent’s future.
Lord Fiifi Quayle, Founder and Chief Analyst of Africa Macro Intelligence and author of Pricing Uncertainty, will engage students, academics and young professionals during the tour.
The programme will combine book donations with lectures, student dialogues, economic discussions and opportunities for young people to share their perspectives on Africa’s economic future.
“The purpose is bigger than the book,” Lord Fiifi Quayle said. “We want African ideas to travel. We want young Africans to encounter serious economic thinking and, more importantly, to understand that they too have a responsibility to question the economic assumptions that shape their societies.”
The tour will begin in Togo, then proceed to Benin and Nigeria.
AMI intends to document students’ views across the three countries as part of a special West Africa Student Economic Perspectives initiative.
The resulting observations will contribute to a future AMI publication examining how young Africans perceive the continent’s principal economic risks and opportunities.
Evidence. Insight. Resilience.
