The Induction Mass brought together alumni, well-wishers, and the school community to witness the transition of power to the newly elected National Executive Council (NEC), who are set to steer the affairs of the association for the next three years.
The ceremony commenced with a significant gesture of continuity, as the outgoing President, Daasebre Isaac Duah (POJOBA 89), was invited to introduce the incoming team. In a moment of institutional pride, Daasebre Duah called forward the individual members of the new NEC, presenting them to the congregation and the POJOBA fraternity.
The spiritual and formal highlight of the event was the administration of the Oath of Office. This was conducted by Rev. Fr. Codjoe (POJOBA 2002), the Parish Priest of St. John the Evangelist. As a fellow POJOBA, Fr. Codjoe’s role underscored the deep bonds of brotherhood that define the association.
Following the oath-taking, Rev. Fr. Ohene, the Headmaster of Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary (POJOSS), offered a special blessing. He prayed for the new NEC and all members present, seeking divine guidance and strength for the leadership team as they take on their new responsibilities.
The newly inducted NEC is composed of a diverse group of dedicated professionals ready to serve the association:
President: Daasebre SURV. Kwaku Agbesi, PhD (POJOBA ’94)
