The Minority Caucus in Parliament has held a press engagement dubbed “Holding Government to Account” at the Justice DF Annan Auditorium of Parliament, as part of activities marking one year of the Minority’s work in Ghana’s 9th Parliament.
The event outlined what the Minority describes as a year of active and responsible scrutiny of the Mahama-led government, highlighting key interventions, parliamentary oversight actions, and policy positions taken over the past year.
Leading the engagement was Minority Leader and MP for Effutu, Osahen Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, supported by the Minority Caucus leadership, including Deputy Minority Leader Patricia Appiagyei, Minority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, First Deputy Minority Whip Habib Iddrisu, and Second Deputy Minority Whip Jerry Ahmed Shaib.
