In a bold announcement, the Regional Communications Officer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Oti region, Seidu Musa, has declared Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia as the ultimate choice for the party’s presidential candidacy in the 2028 elections. Mr Musa attributes this strong endorsement to Dr Bawumia’s effective branding and consistent engagement with party members.
Over the past few years, Dr Bawumia has conducted numerous tours across the country, actively connecting with grassroots party members—more than any of his potential rivals within the party. Currently, he is visiting the Oti region on a three-day tour from November 7th to 9th, where he is rallying party faithful to show their support.
“His extensive outreach will make it much easier for him to reconnect with party loyalists and delegates,” Mr Musa said. He encouraged all party members to turn out in large numbers to support Dr Bawumia during this critical time in his campaign.
