The Member of Parliament for Ketu North Constituency, Eric Edem Agbana, has made a significant intervention to support teaching and learning in senior high schools within the Ketu North Constituency.
The Member of Parliament donated 50 brand new laptops to students of Dzodze-Penyi Senior High School to aid them in their upcoming ICT practical examinations.
In addition, he presented 10 desktop computers, secured from the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), to Weta Senior High School and Wovenu Senior High School to boost their ICT infrastructure.

Recognising the challenge of frequent power outages in the area, the MP also presented fully-fuelled standby generators to all four senior high schools in the constituency as a backup measure to ensure uninterrupted teaching and learning, particularly as students prepare for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
He expressed confidence that the interventions will create a conducive environment for students to excel academically.
“We trust that these measures will help our dear students to perform well in the WASSCE,” he said, noting that education remains one of his top priorities as MP for Ketu North.

Heads of the beneficiary schools, as well as students, expressed their gratitude to the MP for his timely support, describing it as a major boost to academic work and ICT practicals in particular.
