The Christ the King Catholic Church in Cantonments, Accra, has hosted a solemn vigil and Holy Mass in memory of Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister for Defence, and Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala of the Ghana Air Force.
The two were among eight people who perished in the tragic August 6, 2025, helicopter crash, which has plunged the nation into mourning and sparked a series of memorial events nationwide.

The service began at 6:00 p.m. with hymns, tributes, and biographical reflections, offering deeply personal accounts of the lives and service of the two fallen public servants.
