PLAYBACK: EC Briefs Parliament on Ablekuma North Collation Controversy, Procurement Deals

Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC) is currently before Parliament to provide updates on matters relating to the collation of parliamentary results in the Ablekuma North Constituency and ongoing controversies surrounding procurement contracts.

The appearance follows growing concerns raised by Members of Parliament—particularly from the Majority Caucus—about alleged irregularities in the collation process during the 2024 general elections, as well as questions over the transparency of the EC’s procurement procedures.
