The Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah on Saturday May 10, 2025, organized a free health screening event for hundreds of mothers in the Okaikwei Central Constituency at Lapaz, Fidelity Bank.

The event, in partnership with the Triage Centre/Sangy Global, aimed to promote breast and cervical health awareness among women.

According to the former Chairman of the Finance Committee of Parliament, the event was part of his ongoing efforts to improve healthcare services in the constituency.

“We recognise the importance of preventive care, especially for mothers who often put others’ needs before their own. By providing access to these health screenings, we hope to promote early detection and prevention, potentially saving lives.”
