The Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Edem Richmond Kpotosu, has extended a compassionate hand to Miss Mavis Agbo, a young student of Takla Tokor E.P. Basic School who is battling a severe case of lumbar scoliosis.
The MP donated GH¢10,000.00 to assist with the cost of Mavis’ urgent surgery and treatment. The total amount needed for the life-changing procedure stands at GH¢483,869.00. His contribution is aimed not only at alleviating part of the financial burden but also at drawing public attention to the plight of the brave young girl.
Kpotosu made a passionate appeal to the public, calling on friends, well-wishers, philanthropists, and all compassionate individuals to join him in supporting Mavis.

He emphasised the importance of unity and empathy in ensuring that every Ghanaian child has access to the healthcare they need, regardless of their economic background.
“This is more than just a donation; it is a call to action. Together, we can give Mavis a chance at a healthier and brighter future,” the MP stated.
The appeal is part of a broader call to promote healthcare accessibility and support for children with critical medical conditions.
