Alex Segbefia Appointed as Chief of Staff to Vice President Prof Opoku-Agyemang; Dr Ofosu Ampofo Named Policy Advisor

President John Dramani Mahama has approved the appointment of Alex Percival Segbefia as Chief of Staff to Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

The announcement, made on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and policy coordination under the “Resetting Ghana” agenda.

In addition to Mr. Segbefia, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been appointed Policy Advisor to the Vice President, specifically focusing on political matters.

Mrs. Alberta Graham will take on the role of Head of Administration.
